The Hitchhiker’s Guide “trilogy” by Douglas Adams. Five novels and a novella or not, it’s been lovingly, tongue-in-cheek, called a “trilogy” since book four, So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish, came along.

The Chronicles, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. This is the

Chronicles omnibus

trilogy that started the DragonLance series of books, and the first novels set in that world that I read. It is by far my favorite of all the series written in the world of Krynn.
