- Description and biography:
Remeta Sandor was born in Hungary, in a family where both parents practiced yoga. My father was his first teacher, asana, pranayama and bandh, which over the years and remained a key part of his style. In addition to Hatha Yoga Shandor mastered the Far Eastern martial arts (Kenjutsu - Japanese art of sword, and Chinese shaolintsuan), with their "internal" complexes with energy. In the 60 years, the family emigrated to Australia and then Sandor under contract with the United States was drafted and sent directly to Vietnam. Returning from the war, he found the Yoga Deepika "B.K.S. Iyengar and resumed his practice of yoga in this book. Some time later, a young veteran of Vietnam "was surprised to learn that the author is performing all these fantastic postures, is still alive and well, and teaches in his India. Twenty-five Sandor immediately sent to the "Lion of Pune and becomes his disciple, continuing to improve under the leadership of Iyengar practice over the next ten years. Delving into the legacy of Krishnamacharya, he begins practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, studying with one of the Indian students Pattabhi Jois. It is said Sandor, the formation of his style was influenced by the traditions of Iyengar, Krishnamacharya and Arts Kenjutsu, which focuses on the development of the "hara" - the energy center located at the navel. At the same center affects Uddiyana Bandha, working out which Sandor attaches particular importance. Style Sandor Yoga Shadow ?(Shadow Yoga) includes four levels, on the ground (" pratigna Krama - study) examines the basic sequence of asanas, which include elements of Qigong, the second ("mandala Krama, the study of the circulation of prana) - basic asanas and variations in construction, as well as bandha and mudra (Mahabandha, Mahavedha and Mahamudra), the third level ("shakti Crum") is dedicated to the accumulation and concentration of prana, and includes the development of challenging asanas, which give a great inner strength, as well as exploring Marmi - " energy nodes "in the body, nadis - the energy channels, rhythmic breathing and the interaction of all these elements. The fourth level - (vadzhramukti "), is aimed at forming" diamond body "vadzhrakayi, and is a free style, in which" the practitioner knows what to do, when and where to do it, how to do and when to stop. Practice Vadzhrakayi taught in a smooth manner, when one asana flows in future, as well as shade smoothly, without hesitation, moving from one surface to another. " At this level, we study the mantras and their use in combination with asanas and pranayama.
Sandor attaches great importance to the reading of traditional texts of yoga, such as the Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Gheranda and Vasishta Samhita, etc., trying to clarify in the minds of Western students that yoga is not just to "achieve a good quiet life" but as a way to purify themselves and self-actualization that can not always be comfortable and satisfy our ego. School of Iyengar felt in many ways - a lot of attention to awareness of the whole body during asanas, to the difference between "sport" posture, and yoga asana in which there is no tension in the wrong place and not disturbed during the energy in the body. Apparently the years spent in the East, gave the teaching style Sandor some eccentricity. Sometimes it may be a few standing poses, "stretched" in the spirit of the late Iyengar at all busy, sometimes - 40 or more suryanamaskarov of Ashtanga Vinyasa without stopping. If an impatient student asked how to achieve perfection in the asanas, the answer might be: "Eat your rice and do the standing postures for 10 years - and everything will be OK." At one of the American seminars troubled woman, all the time with something of Dissent, and ask many questions, Sandor pretext to show that something led me to the wall, hung upside down on ayengarovskih ropes, put on eye patch for Shavasana, after which he returned to his disciples and continued the conversation. Currently, Sandor lives in Avstralii3, although very active in traveling around the world..
- Style: Yoga School of Shadows
The name "Yoga shadow" is taken from the second chapter of the ancient tantric treatise - "Shiva Svarodaya" (the birth of the breath of life - the revelation of Lord Shiva). In this chapter, called "Yoga of the Shadow of Man", dealt with complex manifestation of the shade and their implications, both inside and outside the human body. Founding ayurvedic text "Ashtanga Hridaya" Vagbhaty also contains a chapter on shadows, which set out the principles of diagnosis.
There is also a story about Allama Prabhudeve - the first guru Gorakhnath (one of the famous founders of Hatha Yoga), which according to his description of the human body is nothing but layers of frozen shadows. In accordance with the anatomy of Hatha Yoga the body itself consists of three separate bodies and five shells (carrying cases, or shadows). Dissolution of the shadows - the purpose of the practice of Hatha Yoga.
Education in the School of Shadows is based on ancient texts on Hatha Yoga, which states that all fixed forms should be constructed so as to develop the practice of freestyle. Freestyle is a necessary step in the cultivation of longevity and enlightenment. The texts also say that the prescribed forms must include the following postures and movements for the proper development of life-breath:
Standing
Sitting
Prone (face down, up, sideways)
Side
Inverted
Curved / twisted
Squats
Balances
Forward Bend
Backbends
Spiral
The twelve postures and movements were extracted from a range of human activities, including martial arts, dance and crafts, as well as flora and fauna. Proper mix of these activities with a certain rhythm and posture is a manifestation of the internal forces that are hidden in every human being.
Four fixed forms of Shadow Yoga uses the basic principles Marmasthany (Indian doctrine of the 108 vital body compounds) to achieve an appropriate mix of positions and rhythmical movements, thereby acquiring the smooth movement of breath:
PREPARATION - BALAKRAMA
OPENING OF THE SHADOWS - TEA VIVARANAM
MOVEMENT (shaking) SHADOWS - TEA SANCHALANAM
Circulation of the shadows - TEA MANDALA
The four forms are a combination of different forms of a warrior (viraparampara) and Sun (suryanamaskar) that act as preludes to the asanas and vinyasa (preparatory, initial, intermediate and advanced). They form the central form, for which the inverted asanas are the conclusion and a connecting bridge to the practice of pranayama, and other advanced internal processes, such as dhyana, etc. The described method of practice is based on chanting the Gayatri Mantra, which consists of entry, the most mantras and conclusions (vyariti, Gayatri and Sira).
2004 - born from the shadows.
The practice of yoga is the reverse process to the deployment of life as a shadow is the latest manifestation of a single point of light beam (a person). Hatha yoga provides a gradual return movement along the path of life to its origins.
In 2004, the School of Shadows for the first time present the complete form of practice on the three-week courses. Please for more information use the link.
The teaching of school shade based on the principles of Hatha Yoga designed shayvitskimi masters of ancient India. According to yoga philosophy physical human body is composed of five layers or shells.
The outer layer ("great" physical body) is called the dark shadow of a body or body. Something like that describes Plato in the dialogue "Timaeus," saying that "the physical body is nothing but a shadow of a more subtle and higher dimensions."
The purpose of curbing the shadows (Chaya Samyukta) - development Vadzhrakayi, light body, or a diamond body that can endure and overcome any tests. The method of "Taming of the shadow consists of clear, consistently increasing complexity levels. At each stage defined, logically based practice runs the appropriate manner. This eventually leads the student to the final stage - Vadzhramukti - free style.
This process (Crum) is divided into four main stages:
1. PRATIGNA Cram - Study (Study).
2. MANDALA Crum - CIRCULATION prana (life force).
3. SHAKTI Crum - ACCUMULATION OF POWER (concentration and preservation of vitality in the body).
4. VADZHRAMUKTI - free style.
PRATIGNA Cram - consists of three levels:
The first level - the study and practice the seven sequences incorporating the family sitting postures and two balance sheets.
The second level - the study of five bandh: Jiva Uddiyana, Jalandhara, Mula and Mano. Construction Dzhatharagni with the introduction of wise and Tadagi Ashwini mudra (mudra - a definite position or movement of the body or parts thereof).
The third level - the introduction of the rhythmic breathing with the use of bandh. The study of Yama and Niyama.
Study Kandasthany - manipulation of energy principles operating within the different body systems. This includes the study:
Vayu - 10 streams of vitality in the body.
Nadi - the channels through which energy circulates in the body.
Adhar - 18 supports the body.
MARMASTHANA - 108 vital points of the body.
Prana and DZHATHARAGNI - in their relation to each other.
Vertical and horizontal movements of the body, appearing in the practice stage Pratigna Crum, allow release from the stiffness of the joints, providing stability and free circulation of energy flows.
MANDALA Crum - consists of two levels
The first level - the introduction of asanas primary and secondary level, based on which one can construct an infinite number of other asanas. These asanas are performed in a circular pattern, which improves the circulation of fluids, heat and air.

SHAKTI Crum - consists of two levels
The first level - the practice of challenging asanas to build physical strength, power and stability of the circulation of vital force of the body (pranakayya).
