The study here isn’t exactly groundbreaking . . . but researchers at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, say if you get a full eight hours of sleep, you look better than if you’ve been awake on a 30-hour bender. No, really.
The researchers wanted to test the concept of “beauty sleep.” They took photographs of volunteers waking up after a nice eight hours of sleep . . . and then took photos after the volunteers stayed up for 31 straight hours.
When other people rated the photos, they almost always said the sleep-deprived photo looked less healthy and less attractive.
