Is Kim Kardashian Going to Adopt a Child from Africa?

Source::http://machronicles.com/2010/12/17/is-kim-kardashian-going-to-adopt-a-child-from-africa/

Life and Style Magazine is reporting that Kim Kardashian may be making plans to adopt from an Orphanage in South Africa.  On December 15th, Kim will be travelling to Africa to promote Brutal Fruit Cocktails (so many questions about how that name came about…..What makes a Fruit brutal?) and she has made plans to visit Days of Hope Orphanage:

Kim was heartbroken when a friend recently showed her a touching photo of 16 precious babies being cared for at another orphanage, Shepherd’s Keep, in South Africa. “She couldn’t believe that all these beautiful little babies were orphans,” her friend reveals to Life & Style. “Kim was in shock — she just couldn’t believe that none of them had a mom or a dad to love them and tuck them into bed at night. That picture really changed her mind about adoption.”

She soon found out it was too far to travel from her work commitments in Johannesburg to the orphanage in Durban during her short time in the country so a determined Kim located another orphanage, Door of Hope, near where she was staying. The orphanage has a weight-sensored outdoor bin where desperate mothers leave an average of 16 babies per month. “Kim was devastated by the statistics,” says the friend. “She contacted her people and asked them to arrange for her to visit the orphanage during her visit.”

Hmmm…..Kimmy K adopting?  I can’t see it.  I know that it is pretty popular for Hollywood Parents to adopt Children from Foreign Countries, but I just don’t think that Kim is ready to take that major step in her life.  Kim still really seems to enjoy the nightlife and being Fabulous on a Red Carpet on most nights.  Changing diapers and night feedings for Kim……eh eh, not going to happen.

As for the visit to the ophanage, I’m thinking that if she visits, she will give the Kids some new cribs, diapers and some Baby Gap Clothes and then she will hit the Brutal Fruit Coctails Red Carpet with a clear conscious.

Cyril Orji - Ethnic & Religious Bias in Africa

<IMG src="http://yt99.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/wpid-12918050830016df42medium.jpeg" border=0

Cyril Orji - Ethnic & Religious Bias in Africa: An Analysis of Bias Decline and Conversion Based up~ the Works of Bernard Lonergan
Publisher: Marquette University Press | 2008-08-30 | ISBN: 0874627362 | PDF | 269 pages | 2.97 MB

Africa has repeatedly been perceived as a confluence of tension and conflict and the fresh upheavals in Sub-Saharan Africa have done little> to help this perceiving. The waves of ethnic and religious violence continue to drain the self-commanding of its material and human resources, leading to a state of successively gaining in force decline. Intolerance and tribal and inter-ethnic conflict, seem commonplace. Muslim-Christian relations in more countries are currently at their lowest ebb. The author of this study, Cyril Orji, draws without interrupti~ Canadian Jesuit theologian, Bernard Lonergan (1904-1984) to offer an dissection of bias that addresses a root cause of conflict in the human body and society. According to Orji, Lonergan's analysis can contribute to a deeper discursive faculty of ethnic and religious conflict in Africa and can offer resources for overcoming them.
