Greenville County Schools will remain closed today, 16th December 2010. This is mainly due to bad weather this morning.

There is lots of snow every where, and weather forecast predicts more rainfall and snow.

Greenville County Schools Website says -

Due to icy conditions, Greenville County Schools and offices are closed today.

Disciplinary hearings that were scheduled today will be rescheduled to Friday, December 17 at the same time. Please call 355-2060 for questions.

Richmond County Schools Opening after Two Hour Delay due to Bad Weather

Due to inclement weather, all Richmond County Schools are operating on a two hour delay for today.

As of 9 a.m., the temperature in Richmond County was at 32 degrees Fareinheit and some ice was visible on parked cars. The high temperature for today was 44 degree farenheight.

The five day forecast calls for daily highs in Richmond County in the 40s and lows in the 30s except for Friday and Saturday when it will be in the 20s.

Many schools in other states are also closed.

Wake County Public Schools – School Closed due to Bad Weather : wcpss.net

Wake County Public Schools will remain closed today. This is mainly due to bad weather this morning.

As per latest forcast, about an inch of snow is expected. It began at around five this morning, with rain, ice and snow, making the roads a mess and travel dangerous.
